The VIA Whip Extensions are available in various lengths to achieve the requirements of Whip Heights above the ground in mining operations.

This heavy duty extension allows the whips to extend up to 12 feet without the problems of the whips fiberglass breakage at the whip base.

The Via Whip Extension are manufactured of a solid fiberglass round shaft with a ¼” hole through the center to permit the wiring. The fiberglass is covered with a polyolefin adhesive lined heat shrink to contain the fiberglass. The ends are made of 303 Stainless Steel with machined wrench cuts for easy installation and ½” X 24 NF threaded to fit all whips.

A special wiring harness is available to enable the VIA Extensions to be used with other whips using the RCA electrical connection type whips.

The EXT 24 used with a UHDSSS Spring and Hitch Mount makes an excellent means of folding the whip back for the rear entry on SUV and pick up trucks.
