The VIA Truck Box Post Hole Mount has been designed to allow a quick temporary method of installation of a VIA WHIP. A Weather Tight Fuse Holder protects the vehicles electrical system.

The Mount simply fits into the Truck Box Post Holes and can be wired into a Cigarette Lighter Power Supply if mounted at the front of the truck box or mounted on the rear of the truck box and wired into the 7 Spade Trailer Hitch Connector. The ½” Bolt is then torqued to expand the rubber block to lock the VIA TBPH Mount securely into place.

***** Important Installation Information*****

When the VIA TBPH is mounted, the ½” Bolt must be torqued to a minimum of 50 Foot Lbs. The ½” Bolt should be Checked each 4 hours until the 50 lb. torque remains unchanged.

It is suggested that after the VIA TBPH Mount has been installed and before the vehicle is used, The whip be sprung at a 45 degree angle at least 6 times and the Torque rechecked prior to allowing the vehicle into service. After 4 hours of operation, the Torque be rechecked until the 50 foot lbs. of torque remains constant.
